My goal is to help people recover from musculoskeletal issues characterized by pain and dysfunction so they return to the activities they enjoy. My focus is treating headaches, neck, shoulder and back pain, MVA and whiplash injuries, hip issues, sciatica, and upper and lower limbs. I am both licenced as a Registered Acupuncturist and a Registered Massage Therapist. Since 2004, I have practiced acupuncture needling, electro-acupuncture, and cupping. Then, in 2015, I became an RMT. My sessions emphasize the interview and assessment process, manual therapy application, reassessment, and patient education. The Graston Technique and other Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization forms complement my treatments. Outside the clinic, I enjoy cooking, playing music, and swimming.

In 2008, my path towards massage therapy began when I encountered a skilled practitioner who helped me recover from multiple soccer injuries. I was captivated by the effectiveness of his techniques and began to pursue an apprenticeship under his guidance. Over the years, I honed my skills and applied them to my own treatments. Eventually, I enrolled in the Registered Massage Therapy program at VCMT and graduated in 2022, eager to help others on their journey towards healing.
My experience has allowed me to create my own unique style of massage therapy using different myofascial, deep tissue and stretching techniques. This approach allows me to provide clients with personalized treatments that cater to their specific need.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing soccer, running, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Iris completed her bachelor’s degree from China Pharmaceutical University in 1994.
Iris then chose Vancouver Career College to study Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Program (including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine), and further obtained the Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) in BC. Acupuncture, as well as other TCM treatments, are based on the diagnosis from the whole body analysis, the treatments are dedicated to help the patients in finding the root of the reason of disease, supporting the body towards better Qi and Blood circulation and reducing the possibility of disease for the future.
Moreover, Iris is an avid practitioner of Yoga for over 15 years, and she believes that, for some people who are suffering from body pain/soreness or unbalanced body structure, choosing some right Yoga or Taiji poses as a daily exercise could be a good help after Acupuncture.
Iris also loves Meditation, Taiji and Qigong. These energy works can be combined with Acupuncture to heal one’s energy from the heart since in theory of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), the core reason of disease comes from the heart.
Iris is a good communicator and team player; a Richmond School district translator during 2015-2017; and a member of We Dance Association of Canada.

Vicky graduated from Vancouver Career College with honors. She became interested in massage after helping her mother relieve headaches with acupressure scalp massage. Her uncle, a Traditional Chinese Medical Massage Therapist, instructed her in Acupressure massage.
Prior to enrolling as an RMT student, Vicky worked as a body worker for 5 years. This allowed her to experience a diverse group of patients and conditions. She treated many elders as the clinic she previously worked at was near a senior community.
Two expectant women were accompanied by her massage throughout their entire pregnancies. She was also trained in reflexology, which she found to be very beneficial for patients suffering from digestive or sleeping disorders.
Fascia techniques and trigger point release were the most intriguing aspects of her Vancouver Career College education. Vicky believes that fascia adhesion is the cause of many dysfunctions. She utilized numerous fascia techniques in both her case study and student clinic.
Vicky is highly attuned to trigger points due to her prior experience with acupressure massage. She discovered that many trigger points are acupressure points as well.
